Dodge Main is a plant in Michigan where they assemble Dodge automobiles...It also happened to sound like a good band
name to Wayne Kramer, Deniz Tek (Radio Birdman) and Scott Morgan (Rationals, Sonic's Rendezvous) when
they recorded a studio album in 1996 for BOMP!/Alive Records. This experimental band with a truly on-the-fly revolving
door policy toward its members, as well as its unorthodox "pick-up" approach to gigging, has resulted in some
legendary performances. One of them was captured by MuscleTone in late-Summer, 1997.
Our recording Hello Cleveland includes Scott Asheton (Stooges), Deniz Tek, Scott Morgan, Gary
Rasmussen (The Up, Sonic's Rendezvous) and Jimmy Zero (Dead Boys).
Other shows, like the one at the Detroit Music Awards earlier that same year, featured former MC5
battery mate Dennis Thompson on drums. There's also the sometime spontaneous sets with bassist
Paul Ill and drummer Brock Avery.
